Your thinking about visiting Argentina, and you are wondering how you can get the best price on flights to Buenos Aires. You hear about some people who have flown for $750.00 or even less! But every time you look, you cannot find any flights for less than $1,200.00. Why is it that some people can find cheap flights to Buenos Aires, and others cannot? Is there some sort of trick or secret to finding great deals on flights to Argentina?
Well the good news is that there are a few tips, and tricks to finding the best prices on flights to BA. And by following this guide’s suggestions you too, will increase your chances of finding the same amazing deals.
Here are the top 5 secrets to finding cheap flights to Buenos Aires.
1. Fly On Off Days (Midweek)
When people go somewhere they tend to want to leave on a Friday or a Saturday because that seems to be the best time. However since this is also when everyone else wants to fly, it leads to these days having the most expensive tickets. So when searching for a ticket, always try to arrange to fly out between Monday – Thursday, with Tuesday being the best.
2. Search Constantly
If there is one thing that is both a blessing, and a curse when it comes to finding good airfare, it is that fares are constantly changing day to day, sometimes even from minute to minute. That is why it is so important to check ticket prices again, and again, and again, and again, etc…This will prove true up until about 2 to 4 weeks before the flight. After that, the chances that you will find a different price for the tickets drops dramatically. So at that point if you find a good deal, that you can live with, its probably best to buy it while you can.
3. Compare and Save
One of the greatest things the internet has done to improve the way we fly, is that you now can in a short time, compare multiple carriers on a single website. This enables you to immediately find the best price for your specific dates. If you are looking for the absolute best price however, you cannot stop there. You must also compare multiple websites also.
There are so many different travel sites today that it is sometimes hard to decide which ones to use. Most of them all perform the same basic function of comparing different carriers flights. However a select few also have a few extra added features that set them apart. In most cases i myself like to use Priceline.com and their great “Name Your Own Price” option. You can set a maximum price and then it will search for a carrier willing to accept your bid. Kayak because after searching for specific dates, you can then view the farecast, which will show you the average price for flying on any given day. And lastly it is also wise to go directly to the carriers own site, such as aa.com, or aircanada.combecause sometimes they have special offers, or discounts that are available only if you book through their site, or input a specific coupon code.
4. Know The Season
As i mentioned in another article i wrote for a series of articles here at BSE, How Much Does It Cost To Travel To Argentina – When is the best time to fly to Argentina, getting the best prices on tickets involves knowing when the best time of year to go. During the summer months (December to March) it can be almost double to price to fly to BsAs as it is in the Spring or Fall. My recommendation would be to visit the country during these times, when prices are lower, and while there is still plenty of activity, and excitement to be had.
5. “Fare Watch”
Any serious world traveler knows that signing up for a website’s “Fare Watch” or similar service is the doorway to finding the best deals on flights to anywhere in the world. When you go to any site make sure that you sign up for these services, sometimes even with multiple dates, so that it is constantly sending you updates. While most of the time, there might be little in the way of “Amazing Deals!” all it takes is that one time you find something to have made it all worth it. But when that deal comes it is vital that you follow my last tip…
6. Be Ready To Buy Immediately When You Find Your Price
When the “Fare Watch” email comes in with the insanely cheap price for round trip tickets to Buenos Aires, it is vital that you be ready to buy them right away. I had the experience once of waiting only 1 day after I got an email for $350.00 round trip with taxes. By time i went to buy them, the price had shot up to nearly $900.00 in one day! So long before you go to your computer, you should have made up your mind about what you are doing, and have set firming in your mind, how much you are willing to spend. If you see tickets drop below your maximum price, then you need to act fast.

Not easy to say thank you, me english not so good – but these really good. Good read. This video my country.
