Review:
A slightly more modern take on the classic Buenos Aires Café/Resutrante, Café de la Ciudad presents itself as the perfect place for both a quick coffee, and a peaceful relaxing dinner. It was my experience however that while it does put forth a good effort at doing this, and even succeeds in some areas; overall it fails in its mission.
With only decent food, and service that’s nothing to write home about (Excluding this review), this is not the kind of establishment you want to go out of your way to dine at. If however you find yourself in this part of town, late at night with nothing else open (Highly Unlikely), then this is not so bad of a place to avoid, simply not one to seek out.
Highlights:
Great location, Open all night, Large menu
Downsides:
Diner quality without diner prices, No Wi-Fi, Small portions.
Best thought during my visit:
This pizza is so small…maybe I can hit up MacDonald’s across the street after to finish filling my stomach.
